2016年一名叫SNECXTAN（好像是马来西亚）的30岁男子在INS上发布了IFS-20视频获得了全世界刀具品牌以及爱好者的关注和讨论，（据听说收到了零误差，微技术，蜘蛛等大品牌的青睐。邀请其进行推出合作版，均一一被拒）既然引起了这么大的轰动，肯定有了不起的地方，下来我们就介绍一下这款产品。
作者介绍IFS-20是来自枪支的灵感和启发，它无需上油，没有螺丝帽，也不用复杂的螺丝刀进行拆卸，简单的组装即可上手使用。而这款刀恰恰如此，它是由18个零部件组装而成，也被一些爱好者称之为机械拼图设计。产品没有一颗螺丝钉，要知道到目前为止所有的折刀连接在一起都必须使用螺丝进行固定，直到IFS-20的出现打破了这一常规。但是这个听起来像是一个经验丰富的刀具老将才能做出的事情，但这款产品确实是SNECXTAN的第一款刀具产品，也是他的为刀具的首款设计。据悉作者一共制造出了5支产品，其中2支用来拍卖，其中一只的拍卖价格达到了8100美金出售。
作者作为一名具有严格标准的刀具爱好者（是不是我们所说的强迫症，LOL），在刀具严酷的试用下螺丝松动，刀锋偏离中心，而这些都是传统刀具中出现的问题，他为了应对这些刀具出现的问题设想出了这款IFS-20。据悉他在制作前常常问自己“抛出以上的问题后，什么样的刀具才是自己设想的。不用担心松动和分离的问题，感觉这是不可能的。”
TAN此款只做了5支，当时并没有打算做很多，虽然他收到了众多大牌的青睐，产品也具备巨大的商业价值和利益。但产品依然是作者自己一个人在进行。TAN说“我只是想把我自己的想法融入刀中然后带入生活，我完全是为了自己制作了这款产品。”除了拍卖的2支外，一支为TAN自己收藏，一支进行严酷测试，一支作为他的个人EDC刀具。

" Here's a repost of what I originally shared in February 2016.
Eventually I bought a handful of better knives. They get used, got dirty, and I washed them often. I took all of them apart routinely for thorough maintenance. This was where it got frustrating. Taking apart a folding knife is not a good experience. It was probably interesting only for the first dozen times.
Soon I developed a set of criteria for the sort of things I look in a perfect knife. But it seems like my perfect knife simply doesn't exist.
If I want easy maintenance, just go for fixed blade. Prefer folding? Then have some tools and deal with the maintenance. If things come loose, just use loctite. And don't disassemble the knife unless absolutely necessary.
Why?
I mean, look at guns. No loctite, no glue. You don't have to bring screwdriver around for maintenance. And disassembly seems fun!Why can't folding knives be the same?
The idea got stuck. Surely it can be done. Just nobody makes one. Sure, talk is cheap. So I decided to do it myself.And this is what it's all about, making that impossible knife."
